KEY PROJECTS

PRESIDENTS PROJECT – CARING FOR THE AGED

The Cuylerholme Centre has identified 5 ladies in Financial need; The Ladies range from 62 to 97 years of age and have no support; Their income in augmented by a nominal fee by the club, and they are offered shopping assistance, and an outing once a month;

THUTHUZELA CARE CENTRE

A Rape Crises Centre, where we liaise with the centre’s Staff and Counsellors regarding Thuthuzela’s on-going needs.

 

VAN STADENS FARM SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMME

We are assisting with small maintenance projects around the School grounds; Introducing Enrichment Programs to the learners; Afford the Learners an educational outing;

 

ADVENTURE INTO WOMANHOOD

This is a one day Seminar where we invite School leaving Matriculants to a fun and informative morning. Topics presented are centred around giving the girls the best advice on how to helpful to the girls revolving around Health, Sexual Awareness; Personal Safety; as well as How to present oneself at an interview.

 

BURSARY PROGRAMME

This program assists young Girls from disadvantaged back grounds who show potential in the fields of Mathematics and Science. They are offered financial aid and Mentoring support. In the past we focused mainly on Secondary Education.

It is planned to extend this program into Tertiary Education in 2018.
